Street Party Headliner "Old-time and folk sensibilities are forged into evocative new world music. Deadwood Revival isn't trying to make something out of nothing. Rather, they're on the leading edge of the resurgence and revitalized interest in old-time music. They're infusing healthy vigor, gusto, and enthusiasm into their new presentation of 'old world' inspired music...." Joe Ross - Bluegrass Now (Feb, 2007) "Male-female duo Jason Mogi & Kim Trenerry evoke a deep, rustic feel on tunes that feature Mogi's adept clawhammer banjo, Trenerry's solid guitar and the pair's warm, wistful vocal blend. No question that this award-winning act will put you squarely on the back porch of a woodsy cabin."- Music Connection Magazine (2006) Deadwood Revival will donate a portion of their CD sales to the South Corvallis Food Bank. Vaughn is trouble! She's
trouble for those who like singer-songwriters to fit nice and
quietly into single-serving genre molds like pop, folk, country
or rock. She's trouble for those who don't like their sad songs
leavened with humor, or their catchy, silly songs rubbing elbows
with songs that punch you in the gut and wrench your heart out.
She can belt em out like Janis or Tammy, and rumor has it she
also has a mean yodel. Visit Idgy Vaughn at www.myspace.com/idgyvaughn
If you're not quite ready to let loose and love, then maybe you should refrain from entering the world of Naomi and The Courteous Rudeboys. They put funk in your pocket, dub in your soul and femme fatale vocals in your ears. From Santa Cruz, CA, this quintet is fun, quirky and furiously dedicated to throwing a good party. With a voice that is strong but kind, commanding but feminine, Naomi offers up a repertoire of sweet, sassy funk and soul originals, with lyrical themes that touch on love, friendship, acceptance and self-expression. For a band that has been together for only two years, NCR has racked up some mileage in their bio-fueled bus. Highlights include performances at Earthdance & High Sierra Music Festival. Anyone that has seen them live will tell you that NCR has a whole lotta heart and soul. With a variety of danceable songs, there's something for everyone. Their debut LP, Beautiful Beings, released in 2007, was recorded at the legendary Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco. The album's soul hit, 'Love Song', features Oakland-based gospel trio, the Stovall Sisters. Through grass-roots efforts, Naomi's songs are featured on independent radio stations WORLD-wide.

Opening for Naomi on Monday will be local roots reggae rocker Santino Cadiz. His gentle voice, driving rhythms and soulful guitar will perfectly set the stage for rudeboy rockin'. Self teaching himself guitar, Santino began to develop his musical endeavour early on with rhythmic rasta undertones and subltle folkish nuances. Moving to the Oregon coast inspired Santion to produce and release his first solo CD "Rise Up and Walk" an eclectic mix of reggae, Hip hop, jazz and R&B. "I was able to take all of the styles of music that influence me in personal way and compose a collection of songs, that I am really proud of...truly a peek into my soul".
